Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well now I've been allowed to post a reply I am glad I asked as it's afforded some high amusement.
Is it the end of a beautiful friendship for the pair?
Well this is the man he refers to as his dad to others. The man he sat in the pub bemoaning how worried about him he has been and how stressful and couldn't cope and people sympathise and buy beer! He wasn't going to pub after bingo Sunday but did and had far too many beers!
Cheers
That's a cunning ruse for beers but it works. How good is Stressy's memory, like will it all blow over or become grudge city?
I feel sorry for both but particularly Scoots as he's ill and needs friends for support xxx
Stressy err ... well first of all and rather ironically for a person with autism, reckons he is expert on people's behaviour. He has a thing about being manipulated and 'needy' people.
Whenever he erupts he finds nails to hang it on ... by that I mean he will churn out reasons ... Of course that's other people's actions and attitudes.
I have to say I am amazed that today hasn't resulted in casualties (not necessarily injuries)... that he helped himself to beer but then only had a few mouthfuls.
In the past, spirals have err just let's say been messy.
The scooter in morning is ... going to be interesting.
Now like a politician, anything brought on himself is still other people's fault, if he ever feels guilt, other people made that happen. Him risking his life not accepting treatment for abscess was other people, mainly Scoots causing him stress which caused abscess!
Nuff of all that.
No word from lily moo?
Cheers
Oh good lord, Shimmers. Will you be chief smoother overer or let them sort it?
Anyway, no word from lilymoo but if she got hamstered, like I just did maybe that's why. I just hope her little angel is doing well
and she's in a better place right now xxx
Stressy has very few folk in his life. He is acutely aware that Parkinson pal is on the home straight and was worried about Scooterless. Doesn't stop him deriding Scoots for all being own fault, getting overweight etc.
Realistically as October sees the end of Parky pal driving, I don't see how can visit. There is talk of trains etc but his walking is an unsteady shuffle etc sooo
Stressy could visit but no longer does buses etc.Spoz trains are possible but not easy.
Anyway meant to say that in past there have been come backs out of dependency all round but this time ... who knows.
Cheers
Joke from a kid on the metro the other day
Which motorbike likes jokes?
A Yamahahaha!
Cheers
It'll be a shame if they don't make up for a myriad of reasons - friends don't grow on trees.
I'd miss your monologues as they don't half make me laugh. Get em told!
Ray hasn't been on for a few days and I hope he's ok xxx
That joke was straight out of a Xmas cracker! I liked it
