Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

When I saw his message I had one of those moments as I thought it was one of his family, but it was him. He's been through the eye of the storm but after all sorts and morphined up to the eyeballs he's feeling ok. Yeh, I'm made up, totally.
I've been a bit worried about you tbh xxx
My first hospital stay, a woman came to visit her mother who was rapidly deteriorating before our eyes. Her sister I think on the phone and the daughter saying come. Sister 'Does she want anything from Mark's n Spencer?
It was so poingant... the mother was barely still here and probably had moments at best...
few minutes later the poor daughter was utterly wrung out as amazingly her mother had rallied.
An emotional rollercoaster!
Hope your pal continues to improve.
Cheers
Oi! What you doing worrying bout me? You got enough on your agenda!
Cheers
Aw thanks hon. He's doing much better by the sound of it and hopefully he'll now be able to have chemo to give him a little more time. His words.
I just got signed out and then transported back to the beginning of the thread. Gah!
I wonder if it will help if we ask the
to play nicely?
Cheers
Sooo how are plans coming along... I see you are mulling over furniture
Cheers
It could work but I think they've got it in for us in particular.
I asked OH about his maternal grandma - mean, stingy and controlling. She demanded her offspring jumped to it when she snapped her fingers. Sounds very familiar...
Now hiding the reply as I type it!!
Ooh genetic or learned but behaviour certainly passed on!
Cheers
The hamsters are having a ball right now!
This is the answer to your plans question.
After obsessing about that flat for 2 days I rang the estate agent this morning and asked if it was still available. She said someone would ring back but if I'd not heard anything in 24 hours to call a number. Well I haven't so I'm going into town in the morning and will march into the office.
Impatient is the middle name I never got and the 24 hours isn't up till about 10.30am. I'm terrible with waits xxx
Night if you've dropped off Shims. Sweet dreams hon xxx
