Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Fabulous. Their exceptional added bonuses didn't appeal? Joy

Following a landlord around a flat he was very proud of I suddenly realised the last two strides had taken us through the 'kitchen'.

It was the length of a sink and not much wider.

Err 'where would the washing machine go?' sez me. 'Oh it can fit' sez him 'but they don't want them. No.They happy to use a launderette'

Umm working in catering and hospitality at the time, I wasn't sure which laundry would let me bang them up after 2:30 am and have me re suited and booted for a breakfast shift Joy

    Cheers

  • Well I think tech issues and tired issues mean we all have left or should leave so nyt and sweet dreams for those that sleep and rest and peace for those that don't.

  • Reminds me of the kitchen in a flat I shared with a boyfriend in the early 80’s.He was 6’3 “ so there was no way we could be in there together.Cooking was really awkward as there was only a baby belling cooker.Dave had been on at me to cook a roast dinner. Finally our shifts co incided so I said ok but to make sure he was back by a certain time as I didn’t want the food to get too cold.I cooked said roast and waited and waited. Finally he rolled in having been at a friends and forgotten all about the long promised roast.I’m ashamed to say I was so furious I threw it at him.At least the kitchen being small it didn’t take long to clean up.The lounge door used to stick so the landlord said he would fix it.I came home from work to a howling gale from the huge gap in the door.
