Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Afternoon Amanda
Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend hon, and good news you both got out and about. Don't fight your fatigue sweetheart as it does indeed take a good while to sort itself out. Dr Gilly prescribes plenty of rest until those energy levels have been topped up!
Yes, I'm not surprised you're having trouble with posting as have quite a few of us, but hopefully they'll sort it and get the troublesome hamsters back in their cages quick smart! Little blighters.
I've not been too good since yesterday afternoon but my friend told me norovirus is doing the rounds! I once caught that from a hospital my dad was in and it took a couple of days to shift - not pleasant. Friend does live in Wales though so you be careful too hon.
Well that's my news but if I have got the virus at least I can't pass it on by messaging . Sending big cwtches back and you get plenty of rest my lovely xxx
Sonia hon, apart from the waiting and the forms, that's really good news
I'm afraid there's not much you can do about waiting around but hopefully that'll improve from now on I remember we had a wait the first time OH went but that was partly his fault as he went to the wrong room and the nurses had to hunt him down! Daft devil.
Aw I'm feeling much better thanks sweetie, probably a 24 hour thing. We're just about to eat our tea and I'm famished which usually means all's well.
Now you get some rest tonight hon, and hopefully it'll be a lot faster tomorrow. Hugs and love sweetheart xxx
Hi Amanda, that's great news. That must be such a relief.
Getting my strength back thankfully and the side effects of the drugs from the stem cell collection, seem to have gone now which is great.
Had my covid/flu jab today as they want me immune before I go in for transplant on 12th October. Three weeks today!! Feeling a bit fluey now but paracetamol holding it off.
Glad you're feeling well and hopefully getting your strength back too xxx
