Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I had a double whammy as as a child. My mother listened to oldies on radio and then my dance school still had pianist where some had moved to recorded music.
The tunes we danced to must have been from my dance teacher's teacher's day
Years later, working a function one night, a lovely great granny in attendance was amazed that I knew the words to tunes like Alexander's Ragtime Band and The Darktown Strutters Ball
Cheers

Yes my parents and sisters loved all the music. F
My dad used to like to think he could sing Tom Jones especially after a few after a few pints of Brains Bitter lol. Though we were a bit dubbious .

Alexander's Ragtime Band was actually 1911 although there was a musical in 1938.
Darktown Strutters Ball was 1917.
I wasn't there for either of those.
Cheers
I have heard of Alexander's ragtime band. I was born in 1952 so I am ancient. My mum and dad didn't have a record player but I think they had a radio.
