Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Steve.
I think Geordie accents are great, and Scottish too Sarah! Steve, there are many beautiful areas in Yorkshire, unrivalled by other parts of the country, but Northumberland is magnificent with its glorious beaches. I loved my childhood holidays to Seahouses and scrambling in the rock pools. If I could time travel I'd be heading there post haste!
The only place I'm heading now is the kitchen, in the direction of the kettle!
Take care and hugs xxx
Fun fact-it’s much easier to speak Russian if you’re Scottish-it’s easier for us to pronounce the sounds they have with things like the “ch” in loch.

Morning Sarah.
I know, ridiculous, expecting a mute person to converse over the phone. I was forthright and wouldn't entertain him trying to stymie me, so got the result I was after. I honestly think they give these endless time frames in the hope that claimants pop their clogs before they have to pay out. I'm a cynic but that's my opinion.
Enjoy your day my lovely, and keep cosy as it's a bit nippy just now xxx
It just shows how little they understand, Gill. I did actually say that to the person who interviewed me over the phone when I first claimed-I actually said I bet you all hope we pass away before this process is done so we save you money. It really feels like that with such a long drawn out process.
Bit of a miserable day with the weather today here but I’ve got my friend phoning this morning so it’s always lovely to catch up.
Sarah xx
Hi Gill
I'm off to Northumberland next week....to one at least of the glorious beaches! My niece is getting married, and the plan is to spend the wedding celebration having 'family games' on the beach. Picture a rounders match with the bride in her dress!
Hope the weather is kind to us.
I'll be staying over there for a week, my first holiday for 2 years. Looking forward to the break, and catching up with some of my family.
Happy Yorkshire day to you too...I'm in exile in Scotland now, but Yorkshire born and bred!
xxx Kate
At least my accent is nothing like the Glaswegian one so I’m easy to understand!

Morning Kate.
Ooh, you lucky lass. That's something brilliant to look forward to and not long to wait for your holiday either. My eldest got engaged on the beach at Seahouses... sixteen years ago but no sign of their wedding.
Happy Yorkshire day to you too my lovely. I'll take a stab you're originally from around Leeds but I'm probably way out. We're in north kirklees, around twelve miles from Leeds city centre, but I'm originally from a small village in Bradford.
Wishing you a wonderful time Jane, enjoy the wedding and fingers crossed the weather holds up for the beach games.
Hugs to you and yours xxx
