Rest In Peace Johnty.

I don't know how many people on here have had the wonderful pleasure of having an online chat with a Wonderful Lady called Johnty. I received the Sad News that she passed away Peacefully on Saturday evening. She was an Incurable Patient Member and would have a lot of input with everyone, in most groups. She was a Ray of Sunshine on a cloudy day and would advise everyone she could. She helped myself through my Late wife's treatment for S.C.L.C and several others she became Good Friends with. She was still taking time to message me when my wife passed away and has helped me through some Dark Times by just being Normal in her messages. I hope that Johnty has helped others like she has helped myself and another person I know of. Another Angel has Gone to Heaven.

Rest In Peace Johnty. Fly Free from Cancer and Suffering. God Bless

    Hi John

Thanks for posting the sad news about our wonderful friend

I can only echo everything you've said about her, the Macmillan forum will be a lot poorer now that she is no longer with us.

Hopefully we can get messages to her family to let them know how much she was respected by many members of the various groups.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time whilst they know that she is now at peace but her memory will linger on.

  • Hi Ian ( Bodach ) I have read many posts that Yourself and Johnty were involved in and I was just blown away at how much she knew and how much she cared about others. She became a part of my wife's cancer back in March/April 2019 and we just sort of hit it off and she became a bit of a Sage for advice and support. I kept in touch when she ended her posts to the forum and stayed in touch as much as possible. Her Husband was there and she went peacefully. I will certainly pass on the respects from the groups and ask her Hubby to just take a look at her Macmillan Account, failing that I will copy and paste and send them onto him.

    My Regards

Really saddened to hear that johnty has passed but at the same time I am glad she had her husband with her and crossed peacefully. I too was wondering about her as I miss her thoughtful, informative posts and she was a tower of strength and quiet encouragement to many in various groups. Rest in peace our wonderful friend..you will be sorely missed by us all. Thank you for letting us know Billy the dog and please pass on my deepest condolences to her family. God bless and protect them all and give them strength and comfort at this very difficult time. Love and hugs, lamb (womb cancer group) xx
