Not sure how to feel?

Hi everyone, I thought I would come and post for the first time here. I am hoping that some of you know and understand how I am feeling.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2026. I started chemotherapy in April, 6 cycles which were awful and really took their toll. 3 weeks ago I had a lumpectomy and today was told I have clear margins. I still need to have radiotherapy and take tamoxifen. Of course I am delighted with this news, but there is the other half of me that is scared to go back to my normal life. My world over the last 5 months has been hospitals, treatment, scans, and blood tests. They were all my safety net, a new way of life that I got used to. I felt safe and protected. Now I worry that the cancer will come back and I won't have scans or blood tests to catch it. Also, going back to work worries me. How will I cope with being on my feet for 8 hours a day?

If anyone feels this way or did, I would love to hear your thoughts.
