Single mastectomy in 2 days time

Hi, I hope you managed a little sleep last night. The few days before surgery are a very anxious time, I think it’s all the ‘what ifs’ that fly around your head at stupid o’clock in the morning! 
I had my single mastectomy in sept 23 but I had immediate reconstruction, so a little different to your surgery. Everything happens so quickly that you don’t really have too much time to think once you get into it.

I found the M&S surgery bras good (I’m a 36DD) and you get a few pennies off their surgery bras as well as they take the VAT off.

if you have any questions, feel free to ask - I may not be able to help but I will try! As I say, I had a single mastectomy with reconstruction, 8 rounds of chemo, 15 sessions of radio and now take 3 different tablets! It’s a whirlwind but it’s doable! 

My daughter was just starting high school at the time also so everything was chaotic but we all got through it xxx
