Hello all, I'm 39 single mother of three primary school children and recently been diagnosed with Stage two breast cancer. I have a mastectomy booked in a few weeks then chemo and radio.
Anyone out there been in or going through a similar situation ??
Hi there, I’m similar, have 3 primary school children. I was diagnosed August last year and started chemo sept 1st, had mastectomy and lymph node clearance in Feb and radiation in May/June. I’ve two more herceptin infusions left and can finally see the light at the end of a long year. You can do it, it will be tough but manageable. ️
Hi, that’s great news for you! How did you manage with the children and undergoing treatment? Best wishes
Hello Everhopeful, I'm 47 and a single mum of 3 teenage boys. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at start of July and found out 2 weeks ago I've got lung cancer too. I'm having mastectomy and part of lung removed on 8th September then chemo. Hope all goes well for you. Best wishes
