Hi new to group, I was diagnosed with breast cancer last Thursday and have 2 options, 1 full removal of lymph nodes and the lump and 2 chemo then remove 3 lymph nodes and lump.
Hi Happy knitter so sorry about your diagnosis. Sounds like you have a decision to make that you are struggling with. Has your surgeon or breast care nurse given you their opinion on which option is the best one for you? I would ask them first and if they can't tell you then it will probably boil down to your personal preference.
It might be worth posting on the chemo thread for this month on the main breast cancer forum to get an idea of how ladies who have had chemo found it and with hindsight if they had been given that decision what they would have chosen.
