Finished EC now moving onto paclitaxel -help?!

Hi there,

I am 45 and have just had my 4th EC. I had to get a picc line after my 3rd cycle due to cold cap, EC effects on my veins. I am about to start on 4 cycles of paclitaxel does anyone have an advice or does or dont’s? Would like to hear your experiences. Thank you

I jave had both ec and pax, pax is a lot easier than ec the only side affect that was worse for pax was the taste left in your mouth so hard boiled sweets were a god send esp the chocolate lime ones for some reason

Thank you for that tip. Glad to hear pax was better. Did you have to have steroids in day 2-4 like EC. Bit worried that those 10 pre treatment steroids are going to send me hyper?

You still have to take steroids in the morning but I know it is less steroids than ec regime
