Just wondered anyone who had breast cancer did they get it again in their other breast? I had bc (ER positive) removed in October 2024. I’m currently awaiting biopsy results from my other breast anI’m worried sick it might be a new different cancer. I’ve already had a tonne of chemotherapy and radiotherapy last year
Feel like this bloody brca 2 gene is to blame. My oncologist warned me radiotherapy could cause cancer in the other breast, absolutely petrified of walking the walk again.
Hello Sparkle498uk
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by my replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and I hope seen and replied to by other members of the BRCA positive group.
Have you thought of posting this post in the Breast Cancer and the Breast Cancer for the under 50's groups?
I hope you get some answers and wish you well moving forward.
Best wishes - Brian.
