Hello, I’m 28 and found out I’m braca2 positive, It doesn’t feel like to much of a shock because I’ve been fighting to get tested for 7 years, since my mum passed. I have a significantly strong history of cancer and have always know I will opted for preventative surgery. Would anyone be able share there experiences in regards to timelines? As I can imagine I will have some along the way. Thank you
Really sorry just catching up on this post as I say lost my mum in August so its been a really hard few months.
I am so sorry you have tested positive. I am electing for a masectomy and a hysterectomy. I want this done as soon as possible as the waiting is awful. I really hope this gets sorted for you as soon as possible.
Please keep in touch and sending you lots of love and hugs.
Regards.
Sam
