Hi, I had IDC on right breast 12yrs ago. 2yrs ago I received a letter from the genetics dept to say that my kept tissue samples had tested positive for the faulty CHK2 Gene.

Does anyone else on here also have this gene mutation. It seems that even my GP didn't even know that this gene had been found in relation to breast cancer.

I am Brian one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and I hope seen and answered by other members of the BRCA positive group.

    Best wishes - Brian.
