Hello. I am brca 2 positive and had HER2 breast cancer removed last year. I am now on letrozole and soon abemaclib.
I just wondered if anyone here went on Olaparib after a HER2 negative diagnosis? I was told I was not eligible to it by my hospital as it is only given when there are 4 or more lymph nodes affected. I only had one sentinel node affected. I’m just wondering whether this is just a trust rule rather than widespread.
This drug is a parb inhibitor which has a very good success rate in preventing recurrence.
