My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

    Morning xx

Welcome back Gayle, glad you enjoyed your hols. Wully must have wanted that mug lol!!! Hope your dog is ok too xxx worse than babies aren`t they?

I`m meeting up with the girls from work today for lunch so I`ll have to put the decorating on hold!!

Good luck on Wendesday, Jamie will love it and you`ll probably forget some of your feelings being nervous about him enjoying his time at school (not said by a Reception teacher but a Nursery nurse hee hee!)

Hi everyone. Doing a sneaky one on my break at work. Been having a bit of a weepy time in last few days so it is nice to pop on here and catch up with you all. Welcome back Gayle. Glad you had a good time but even I don't think I could do Paris central and I like driving. Hi Fiona as well - I used to do a lot of knitting when my children were small. I can crochet and sew as well so I tend to go through phases of doing one or the other. It is sewing for now because I need to make a lot of roman blinds for my conservatory. I have got everything ready to make them but I am holding back for the darker evenings.
Lynne I am sure Wednesday and Saturday will go fine. Try to enjoy them both. I would love to see the video. If you can find me on facebook I could have a look at the video if you don't mind. I am Ailsa Hanson and you will know if you find me as my profile picture is the same as the one on here.
Good morning Sue, Patricia, Helen & Kaz - hope everyone is okay today. Ailsa xx

Thanks ladies for the support. I am sure he will be fine as he is really excited and was great going to nursery. He doesn't bother about leaving me (although has been lately understandably). I am just off to label up all his clothes. Sorry forgot to say Helen that is fantastic news about Paul's ashes. I am really pleased for you.

Here is a photo of the boys at the hotel (my first attempt at adding a pic!):
