It will be 2 years Christmas Day i lost my beautiful soulmate. I dream about him so much but they either romantic/sexual dreams or alot of dreams that hes ending the relationship, doesn't want me anymore, doesn't reply to texts and won't answer his phone. I wake up feeling even more awful as I want to wake up see him and know its just a bad dream, its like he has ended it but not in that way as we were so happy together. Makes me feel so angry and unfair all the time.
The human brain is a total mystery; nobody understands how it works. My wife didn't appear in my dreams until about six months after her death and, ever since then, she has only appeared in my dreams intermittently. But, when it does happen, it's lovely: life temporarily seems normal again - until I wake up.
Oh my god. This is surreal. I haven’t been on this forum for a while but today I felt I needed to. And then I saw this post. My hubby passed away almost five years ago and last night I had the most disturbing dream that we were splitting up and arguing who got to keep our dog. I’ve felt so stressed ever since. We were very happily married and never even came close to splitting. So why dream this now ?
I have similar dreams Jillybean.
As I've mentioned already some are so visual and so real. In one dream he was there and so was another guy I knew a long time before Jay. I found out several years ago this guy commited suicide it was nothing serious with him we just got off with one another a couple of times but I just felt awful when I found out what happened to him and the ironic thing was Jay and this other guy knew each other but in no way were they `rivals` but in this dream they are both there and they seem to be arguing I think over me and they are both saying to me which one of us do you want and its just at that time I wake up. So strange to dream of them both together particularly as they were both in my life although Jay moreso.
