Hi

i have been offered 10 sessions of bereavement counselling from 4th August through the hospice that supported us through my husbands last days.  Has anyone else been? I am unsure what to expect.  I had a counsellor when Grant was diagnosed as I was very anxious at the time and it was all a big shock.  Obviously his passing was hard but it was not traumatic and not unexpected I was more exhausted and heartbroken when he died so much different feelings to his diagnosis.  I am going to see how it goes I am not sure how much I need it, I feel that I am grieving well if there is such a thing - I don’t avoid it or feel depressed although I do take meds I obviously miss him terribly and have days where I feel it’s unfair but I am determined to live my life for him.  I am worried it will make things worse if you know what i mean.
