It's something that I've wanted to do for a year maybe, or at least not long after Juliette passed away and I'm happy that I finally did it today.
I got to a tattoo parlour and got inked with a tattoo that I designed for my late wife in 2012.
It's a weird feeling to see on my arm what was on hers for so long but it feels great and now she really is a part of me for ever.
Xx
I also got a tattoo a few weeks ago. I told no-one because I didn't want to be talked out if it!! I always said to people if you must get a tattoo to never get anybody's name on their body!! I got Colins name in his writing on the inside of my wrist a few weeks ago. Had he 'left' me for someone else the inking wouldn't have happened!! I love it
Tattoos weren't ever my thing and Colin spent money getting his 'school boy' tattoos removed by laser 20 years ago - a cross, COL, and four dots on his knuckles (sounds like a hooligan doesn't he lol!!) Then when he had radiotherapy he got his new dots for that, but tattoos are 'so what' and no big deal nowadays that I really only took notice recently and went for it and I'm 58!! I got it for me to see and my heart soars everytime I look at it
