My husband passed away nearly 6 weeks ago and it was his wish for his ashes to be scattered along his favourite river.
I was fine with this until a few days ago when I realised I couldn’t do it just yet. It feels too final and too soon.
Am I wrong in not complying with his wishes?
I agree,
Immediately after the funeral I contacted the royal navy to organise ashes at sea service for ex sailors. Covid restrictions meant I would have to delay... now I am so pleased I couldn't do it at the time because I would have regretted it.
I get comfort knowing he has accompanied me to my new home and is with me always ♡♡
