Losing my mum

So very sorry that this has happened to you. I lost my brother last night too. I did use the Marie Curie counselling number where they ring you back, it helped a little to talk to someone. 

I’m so sorry about your brother, and thanks for the advice. I will look into Marie Curie.
I truly wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

I am so sorry to hear about your mum.  I am going through something very similar.  My mum passed away on 10th July from lung cancer.  She was diagnosed earlier this year in February, and it had also metastasised.  It was a very aggressive type of cancer and progressed so fast despite chemo.  She had pneumonia in the end and suffered a lot.  I was very close to her and had a wonderful relationship.  Now there is this huge void. I was fortunate to spend the last 10 days with her.  She lived abroad.  Talking to people who understand helps, and for me it is visiting places she loved and taking long walks. Thinking of you, it is very hard.  Try to remember the good times you had with your mum.
