Hi Everyone,
My mum was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in April. This came as a complete shock as she was always fit and healthy and never a smoker.
She had braiin, spine and liver mets. Tried immunotherapy but she developed pneumonitis
Im now sitting at her bedside while she slips away and my heart is shattered. Cant stop crying and it’s so utterly traumatic. She is my anchor in this life and I feel like I have no one to talk to.
where can I get help?
.
So very sorry that this has happened to you. I lost my brother last night too. I did use the Marie Curie counselling number where they ring you back, it helped a little to talk to someone.
I’m so sorry about your brother, and thanks for the advice. I will look into Marie Curie.
I truly wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
Please take good care of yourself.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
