Daughter 41 passed away suddenly

Mojon,  You must be absolutely heartbroken - and your beautiful daughter's husband and children too.  It is so hard to lose a child and wife, but the children, all at very different in stages of childhood, will need a lot from you and their dad at a time when you will both find looking after yourselves hard.  I lost my lovely partner of 27 years after just 7 short weeks of unexpected illness (cholangiocarcinoma) and I managed by finding some strength when it appeared and not fighting vulnerability when it arrived.  I have learnt to accept any help kindly offered by concerned others and sometimes help was forthcoming from acquaintances when friends were unable to similarly supportive.  I don't judge my friends who can't be as helpful as I would like - everyone manages difficult situations in their own way as we manage our responses to bereavement differently and maybe things will normalise over time but for now, I have some lovely new friends as well.  It is early days for you and it will be painful for a long time.  I hope you can manage to give your grandchildren what they need and look after yourself too and allow others to look after you.  Sending you my warmest wishes for this very difficult and sad journey that you are facing.
