It’s almost a year since I lost my mum to cancer I was 29 two months before my 30th birthday. She was only 63years old. I held her hand and was with her when she passed. I stayed with her and never left her room for the 4days and 3 nights in the hospital. Recently I’ve found it very hard to cope to eat or sleep or do everyday things I keep crying / breaking down . I miss not having her to talk to to help when I mess up. I’m really struggling and don’t know how to not feel so sad. I’m struggling with changes too cause she’s not here to support me
That is very young to have lost your mum, I was over 50 before I lost mine but even so it was a big hit.
Have you spoken to your GP about how you feel, they should be able to provide some support though sometimes there are big waiting times for some kinds of help.
There are a couple of charities that provide specialist support that might be helpful - cruse bereavement care and the loss foundation
