I lost my husband in February to pancreatitus and rectal cancer. He was so incredibly brave, and I miss him every minute. We have 2 sons, 15 and 11. They need their dad. I am so lost.
My condolences to you I can only imagine what you are going through. I am two years in this weekend from losing my husband to bowel cancer it's actually 2 years to the day today (Friday) he passed but the official date is Monday (23rd). My head is everywhere today just re-living that 2 years ago. I won't tell you just yet that things will get better because it is still slightly early days for you all. Have you managed to get some counselling for yourself and your boys? It will help somewhat and just keep coming on here when you feel the need as everyone will get what you are going through and can relate. Sometimes it can be hard to try to open up to immediate family/friends but this forum helps and has helped me coming on here a lot. I feel I can come on and try to support people like yourself who are just starting out on this horrible journey and it helps me to help someone else. Please take care of yourself and your boys there is also the phoneline here if you feel you need to speak to someone and there is a chat facility if you want to use that.
