Hello Disney
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your Mum in April to a brain tumour. It must have been devastating for you.
I found when I lost my Mum to cancer- a long time ago that I did feel worse before I started to feel better. There is no right or wrong way to feel when you lose someone so close to you. I found that the grief was very up and down. I had days when the tears came and then days where I felt I could do a little more. Tears are a very natural part of grief. I actually spoke to my GP in the end and just being able to express how I was feeling helped me.
Have you got support around you at home and people you can talk to? I found that really helped me.
If you feel up to it you could give the Support Line a call and they would be able to listen and support you and maybe be able to tell you of what support there is for families in your circumstances locally. The number is at the bottom if you feel it could help.
