In 2019 mum was diagnosed with stage 1 kidney cancer, it then metastasised to lungs towards the end of 2021 and eventually to her liver and lymph nodes which we found out about just over 2 weeks ago, no treatment was offered due to her other medical conditions, a syringe driver was fitted last Thursday and all other medication was stopped….
At 1:07am today my mum lost her battle at home with her family around her and she fought right to the very end, my heart is breaking, I just sat up with her watching her lay in her bed so peaceful, just cannot bear to leave her side even now she is at peace 
Hi Worried welcome to the forum and I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Im sure that your mum knew that you were there and as you say she is now at peace.
