Went to see my dad today at the Chapel of Rest ahead of his funeral on Wednesday. I know it's not for everyone but it has really helped me seeing him look so peaceful and more like himself then he did on Friday when he passed away at home.
I don't know what the point of this post is, I think I just needed to write (type) it out.
Hi Jen85 welcome to the forum. I am so glad that you have gone to see your Dad and that you have found this to be very comforting for you. It can be hard to see our loved ones in pain and their features often distorted with pain, so to see them at peace and looking peaceful is very comforting.
Thinking of you. xxx
