I lost my daughter in may and then in November I lost my mum to lung cancer how does any one cope with this kind of grief it’s to much to handle Nd I also have a sister who is dying of cancer
When I lost my Dad (3 years ago tomorrow) I really struggled and I saw a high intensity bereavement councillor and she was amazing!!! I must of had about 10 sessions with her and she really helped me to open up and talk more. I feel talking is so important but to the right people whether that be your partner, a friend, a councillor, family member, or even a stranger on here. But everyone grieves differently. I lost my Mum to cancer last month and it has torn my world in 2. Especially loosing both parents close together and I’m only 36 years old. But I cry when I need to cry, I reminisce the happy memories and try not to recall the later ones of her ill health and struggles and her passing. Doing something in their memory like planting a special tree or plant or visiting a special place. Just know you are not alone and there will always be people you can turn to and talk to. Always here if you need to chat or rant.x
