Hi I’ve just joined the group tonight as I’m finding life every hard at the moment. Firstly I myself am still in recovery from tongue cancer and throughout all my treatment my sister Diane was by my side. On the Monday I was told I didn’t need anymore treatment she was so happy. By the Thursday she was taken to hospital and after tests they told us see had lung cancer and it was untreatable. No one could tell us how much time she had left as they would need to check how fast it was spreading. That was at the end of October but she was due to go back to see them until the 27th February. So with the appointment being four months away we thought and hoped she would have more time but it all happened so quickly and she had to leave us on the 4th February. I just can’t get my head around it all. We only lived two doors from each other and always have been there for each other on matter what. I’m finding it so hard to keep going at the moment and I’m not sure I ever will. I’m hoping writing this down will help me in some way.
