Hi,

My father passed away on 11th May after battling on for 3 years the funeral took place on 27th May. And im just really struggling to come to terms with whats happened.
Hi GDRK welcome to the forum and your friend has sent you to the right place to chat to others and sometimes it just helps to write it down in the forum.
I am so sorry for your loss and sending my sincere condolences for you. I am a year on from you as I lost my Dad after a very short time with Cancer this time last year and I can relate to what you are saying about the sense of disbelief. I don't know that we ever do truly come to terms with what happens for us but we somehow manage to accommodate the loss in our lives but that sense of loss never goes away.
If you want to elaborate on anything that you have said or specifics at all then please feel free to do so as I said it can sometimes help to write it down.
Sending some huge big hugs for now. xx
