Mt mam has stage 4 lung cancer and is now starting to struggle at home. She is currently in hospital with an infection but the plan is when she comes out she's moving in with me. The problem is she has 2 dogs neither myself or my brother can have them due to having pets ourselves. The rescue places that one of the dogs came from is willing to take both of them but they can't till the end of April.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that could help out short term for the next few weeks. We can't afford boarding kennels. We have tried the cinnamon Trust.
Atm me and my brother are going back and fore to the dogs. We are exhausted
Hi Smem and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your mum has lung cancer and that you have a problem with looking after her dogs for a few weeks before a rescue centre can take them.
I don't have any answers for you but could any friends or other relatives look after them for the short time needed?

Hi, I’m in rescue and I may be able to help. Could you tell me a little about the dogs please? Size, age, whether they’re good with other dogs and can live with cats etc? That would be a huge help for me to ask some of my fosterers as they’re going to want to know some basic information. Thanks
