My husband wanted to die at home as he didn’t want to be apart from his 6 dogs and 5 cats.
I’m sure they were more important than me at times, I was the one doing all the unpleasant things to him.
Im so glad that he found peace surrounded by his beloved dogs and myself. It was also beneficial for the dogs to know that he hadn’t just left them. They all checked him and are dealing with it in their own ways.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of him watching tv, sitting on the edge of the bed, with two dogs beside him, all watching his beloved telly.
I miss him so much, but there is so much comfort in the fact that I was able to care for him at home.
