Hello all - thanks for being here.
A posting a question for a friend who is finding things very difficult. She has a recent diagnosis of an advanced cancer and is just starting treatment after surgery for another complaint.
Alas, her pet, a dog has been having seizures for some time now, and these are getting worse, and more frequent. She is finding this very difficult to deal with and is very close to her pet - but circumstances (she has little home support) are leading her to consider the very tough decision to perhaps have her dear wee friend re-homed. Does anyone know of any temporary pet fostering? It would be so nice, and encouraging for her if there was a better solution to this. She is feeling bloody awful about it as you may all imagine - and on top of the shock of stage 4 cancer.
Thanks.
Dantanian
