I didn't know this group existed otherwise I would have joined sooner. Apart from hubby my best friend of 18 years was Brandy. He was my beautiful tabby cat. Unfortunately he had to be put to sleep yesterday and I can't stop crying. Funny not a tear about myself!!! I sorry if I seemed to have joined this group so late but want to hear all the good stories of your wonderful friends

I'm really sorry to hear that you have just had to have Brandy put to sleep. I can remember clearly the day we had to have Ben, our rough collie, put to sleep and that was over 10 years ago now.
Do you have any other furry friends? I'd like another dog at some point but something less hairy next time! Being tan and white (Ben not me) it didn't matter what I wore his hair would show up; tan on anything white and white on anything dark! Still I'd put up with that to have him back.

No I don't have other fury friends but I have in the past - both dogs and cats and they all hold a special place in my heart - just like Ben has in yours
