    Hi - at work at the moment - seems to be the only time I get to do my stuff which I should be doing at home - ok - we went to Westmead yesterday morning arriving at 11.00am - Paul had not been feeling well and had pains in his lower tummy so told the doctors that which resulted in blood tests and an x-ray which we had to go get over the road - so we didnt start chemo until 2.45 - settled down with a DVD - portable - they…

    Well chemo starts tomorrow for Paul - he went to the hospital today to get the "thingy" inserted near his neck - another stage we have passed. He I think is nervous but is not really letting on - he just wants to get on with things and stop feeling sick but is prepared for the worst - and then it can only get better.     Well we went to the counselling session for chemo yesterday - there was a group of four cancer patients - two with breast cancer, one with in his back and us. The session was very informative and interesting - and the nurse who gave us the talk was a gem - gentle and sweet and very compassionate - we came out of the session feeling enlightened I suppose as to what to expect.     I am going to keep a diary of our life from now on - me as the carer for my husband - so we can look back on it all when he has recovered.
