    As i look back over the last 4 weeks , i wonder where did the time go. Its not been easy and i dont expect the final week to be any different Ive more things to contend with , sore anus , itchy skin , constipation and the faf of having, the pump attached.

    But it is the end , i know come this time next week i can relax and concentrate on getting myself back to old me.

    Had a good day today , i thought it may be my last for a while but i like to keep an open mind.

    I was in Asda this morning (sun) i couldnt help but think , will i be here next sunday?

    Next weekend ill be pump free and one week of RT under my belt.

    The card i got from the hospital detailing when they should be contacted, gave me some concern

    -temp above 38c for one hour

    Day zero has arrived, the nerves are really getting to me now,

    Have given the neighbours hospital telephone numbers just in case 

    My final weekend as i know myself /Will i recognise myself at the end of 5 weeks, i dont know.

    I just hope i come out of it as ive gone in to it but cancer free.Am i expecting too much i dont know

    Perhaps those that have been through it all can tell me.

    Its very hard for me to grasp…

    The days are getting closer now to D  day or should i say C day. My final preassessment has been done and only one full week left Monday will be occupied with the picc line insertion and Friday next the dry run.

    i somehow in a warped way find it exciting .I probably wont be saying that further down the line.but i find everyone so helpful and friendly , which is re assuring

    It was a day in late August , the summer in theUK had been quite good this year and the day i visited my consultant was no exception.

    I had gone several times to my GP complaining of piles , sore anus and occasional bleeding .I was recommended Anusol HC and when that didnt work , another prescription steroid cream.
