Hi everyone, not been on here for a while, errol has stopped his stutent because it wasn't working and making him so ill,,, we have been to Birmingham to see if he can take part in a trial will know if this is an option in September,, with no chemo errol has been feeling much better and i have felt like i have my lovely husband back,,, we even managed a lovely weekend away with our daughter and husband in devon , it was so nice to get away although errol was tired and feels the cold so much, we had the best time,,, . I have felt like we have been back to normal a bit ,, he is tired a lot and not eating very well and on a good day we take our dogs for a walk and he is carving our names in the tree. I am worried that if he does take part in a trial he will get really ill again with the side effects and it will all start again THE REALISATION THAT HE HAS CANCER I AM SO SCARED ..

Hugs to you and Errol - sounds like a really mixed time you are having - glad you had a nice break though.

Think we all hit that wall sometime - you think you are coping - then that big black cloud sneaks up on you.

I have never had chemo myself - but listening to others I know it can be hard. - but the alternative of doing nothing can be even harder in the long run - so please think of the long term - I so wish things work out for you both.

Don't forget you have some great friends on here - that will listen and support you when you are down.

thank you john , :-) xx while things have been good ive been pretending its not happening,,, anyway chin up and carry on there is always someone who is going through far worse than me,, but am glad i can let it out on here xx

Hi Teresaeth,

Im Glad Errol has got his trials in Sept. You both seem to be enjoying life at the minute with the rest of the Family.Good to see you got away for a break, Im sure you both deserve it. All the best.
