Sublingual Salivary Gland Cancer- my journey

  • Radiotherapy day 10

So, I'm 1/3 of the way through now. I'm glad to have the weekend break now. I don't have specific pain as such, but the burnt tongue feeling has increased.

I ate some toast this morning and it was a lot more tricky. Can still just about make out chocolate but most stuff doesn't really have much taste, coke and Pepsi taste awful.

Also can't really taste very much tonight, although I can still taste chocolate…

I had an appointment with my GP yesterday to talk about the possibility of getting the Caphopsol. When she looked it up in her book she said she didn…

  • Radiotherapy for salivary gland cancer day 4 of 30

Today they stuck sensors onto my eye kids so I had to keep my eyes shut so they could measure what my eyes were getting. Also had a review with a RT nurse and…
