Don't Give Up

1 minute read time.

Grandma had fluid drained from her Lungs on Thursday. It seemed to make her feel better. Me and my Dad did meet her doctor, a lovely kind woman. She told us in a few weeks Grandma can go home. Great news, it's what she and we want for her. She will need a Day Nurse and Night Nurse, so we can be sure she is well looked after. She needs wheelchairs, commode and her bungalow needs to be sorted for her arrival.

When the cancer was found, we also knew it was in her Liver too. Now my Aunt feels she was lied too about how bad the cancer was and how much it spread. No one has lied. We got told that and Grandma DOESN'T want treatment. It's treatable but it wont cure her. We can't force her to take help, it's her body not ours. We have to understand her reasons.

We are not sure long how she has left. Maybe we dont want to know. Give her the best we can give her, love her and make her smile. Keep her safe and warm. Love her till she is gone for good. Back with her huband and my Bampy, Joe. He died when I was 11. She did say he is waiting for me. I know he is but she will fight with us till she is ready to go.
