Well thats it my las rt yesterday! feel really ill today my chest and neck look as if someone has thrown a pan full of water at it!! feels like it too!!! but i am hopeful it will ease off in a few weeks !! they say the side effects will last for a few weeks too i am then to have a break before the pet scan to see what the chemo and rt has done !! i am off on a well deserved hliday july 9th for two weeks!! hop my hair…
Hi not been on here for a long time as i started back to work part time sometimes it is a real struggle , i have 3 days left of of my 30 fractions of radiotherapy ! i hve an awful rash on chest and neck itchy and sore !! i have also a little trouble swallowing i have to have a soft diet which is getting quite boring! i have also been having really awful flu like symptoms it is awful feel really rough !! im sorry to moan…
Went to see dr after 4 cycles of chemo and ct scan not sure about how i feel the lymhnode in chest is still the same no bigger no smaller!! but the ones in neck area he cant feel! cant have tablet as it is not suitable !! it tested negative for my cancer!! he also told me today that i have to have radical radiotherapy for 6 weeks originally he said 2 weeks !!! he also told me i may get a problem with my gullet and have…

Hi all not been on for a while !! just had my 3 rd cycle of chemo last week and have my last one on 28th january!! this 3rd one really knocked me about i was sick from the day after coming out of hospital !! just felt rough i wonder if it iwas because i had gone more than 3 weeks since last chemo? because of xmas then no beds at hospital etc ? anyway just keep thinking 1 more !! then i have a pet scan in middle of febuary…
