Hi all not been on for a while !! just had my 3 rd cycle of chemo last week and have my last one on 28th january!! this 3rd one really knocked me about i was sick from the day after coming out of hospital !! just felt rough i wonder if it iwas because i had gone more than 3 weeks since last chemo? because of xmas then no beds at hospital etc ? anyway just keep thinking 1 more !! then i have a pet scan in middle of febuary to see what it has done i suppose then 2 weeks of radiotherapy!! then 3 months off !! cant beleive it just worry waht happens then ? my oncologist mentioned last time i saw him he was waiting for some test results on the biopsy they removed from my neck in november about a tablet ? dont know what he meant !! I know it cant be cured that they can just try to hold it back i really pray that it has xxx

Good luck with the last chemo. Hope the scan shows that the cancer has shrunk.

Hello Win - glad you are almost finished your chemo and it does build up in the system so the sickness does get worse sometimes- You are within your rights to ask for stronger anti sickness meds and extra steroids to see you through the last chemo - just make a point of telling the chemo unit nurses and they should organise it for you - dont be embarassed to tell them! Fingers crossed this makes the last chemo go well. I am sure you can also ask about the tablet for the lump in your neck too - lots of us dont take everything in when we see our doctors! l send u best of luck.I am new to secondaries, I am waiting for all the usual tests, after 5 years clear from endemetrial cancer, they have found a lung mass, I am petrified, but trying to stay positive, its hard. take care
