awww ... your allowed to moan on here, thats what were here for ... to listen and support.... most of us have been there, and from MY personal experience (cos we are all different) i would say... unless your doc advises you to stop it... keep at it, chemo saved my mums life, shes now cancer free, and it had extended mine one year and 7 months past my sell by date, and i`m feeling like i could live forever... lol, its true its not easy but it will be over soon, and radio therapy is a doddle in comparison... we`re all here rooting for you

    good luck

I'm not a patient but have seen how much benefit chemo can give people, so hang on in there. X

    Hi Win,

Im a secondary cancer patient and have lived with cancer off and on for 11 years now...what an old hand! Im about to complete my 8th cycle of chemo and sympathise with how you feel.....its tough and really hard to keep going hun....esp hard when physically and emotionally you have to keep facing each cycle. Chemo is undoubtedly the only reason Im still alive so alto it's really tough I think we have litle choice to soldier on! I also have hand foot syndrome and at one point couldnt walk as my feet were so bad. I would highly recommend applying "udderly ' cream (avail on internet) and always the steroid cream Elocon  (available from your GP) applied in the morning and non steroidal gel Volterol (avail from chemist) at night before bed.....this seems to have kept my problem from becoming acute again....this regime was recommended by my Oncologist at a specialist cancer centre so he should know!!!

Good luck with your scan and try to keep going Win !
