Hi not been on here for a long time as i started back to work part time sometimes it is a real struggle , i have 3 days left of of my 30 fractions of radiotherapy ! i hve an awful rash on chest and neck itchy and sore !! i have also a little trouble swallowing i have to have a soft diet which is getting quite boring! i have also been having really awful flu like symptoms it is awful feel really rough !! im sorry to moan but feel terrible and sometimes wish it would end i way or the other !!

Hang in there, its awful when you have to have a soft diet, I did it for 14 days after my raditherapy and hated it you have my symapthy, its was not like when I had chemo and did not want to eat coz I felt sick on radio I was starving but soon got sick of soft things and just wanted steak and chips. It will get better I promise.

I can't begin to understand how you are feeling, but you were kind enough to be my friend soon after I joined this site as a carer so I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and hope you start to improve soon. Sending you big hugs and very best wishes. Val X
