No, see, I haven't deserted you all. It's just that 10 weeks on from the op and its the first time I can actually sit down on both bum cheeks. Not what I'd hoped or expected when I set foot in the hospital for my op. Yesterday was the day I started my chemo as well so all in all, you could say a good week.

Do you know last week I wrote my blog, read it through, felt really smug that I'd yet again completed a literary work of art and then OMG forgot to save it. As it disappeared into the ether, I just burst into tears. Such is life these days, that it is the small unimportant things that take on the most significance and cause the most upset.

Ho Hum, me again doing my weekly blog while Mark goes up the pub for his darts night. This is good as it stops him peering over my shoulder making unhelpful and derogatory comments.
Anyhow, I left you all where all my tests were due to start and sure enough, appointments arrived for a CT and MRI scan. All that was missing was my ultrasound. A quick phone call to my specialist nurse and that was arranged prior to my colonoscopy…

Again thanks for all hugs, kisses, good wishes etc. What I ought to make clear first is that as it took me a while to pluck up courage to start a blog, I am writing this all retrospectively and will catch up as time goes on.
