Hi there everyone, been reading everyone else's blogs for a while now and have been laughing and crying along with all of you. You are all so brave!
Have edited this blog down from yesterday - did get it out of my system, but felt I had given too much info! LOL
So here is just the short version..... Mum had bowel cancer 2 years ago. Had tumour removed and has been fine up until last routine scan which showed a shadow on her ovary, near to the part of the bowel where the cancer was. She will see consultant on Friday, but at the moment have been told it is "borderline".
Dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer, the same time as mum. Has had BCG treatment, cystoscopies then chemo. Cancer then spread to prostate and lymph nodes. He is just recovering now from radical cystectomy. Lymph nodes didn't look good. He will need more chemo.
Will blog again on Friday, hopefully with results.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
