Mum slept quite well last night and only got up twice to the loo.  I had a reasonable amount of sleep, certainly more than I thought I would have.  Mum has slept most of the day.  After breakfast she went back to bed at 8 and slept to 10.30, she returned to bed after lunch and slept from 1pm until 3.30pm when the district nurse and clinical specialist nurse from the hospice paid us a visit.

Mum came home at 10am this morning.  She is very shaky, obvously nervous, and I struggled to get her even to take a couple of little steps to  the commode at first.  We've now done it 2 or 3 times and she has managed better each time.

Mum phoned me early this morning, informed me she had had her breakfast and said 'so much for you coming in to give it me!'.  I didn't say that of course and she then said 'oh yeah, I remember it was lunch.'  That dealt with she informed me that she was feeling brighter and that she had had her blood pressure taken.  She asked when I would be in and I told her around 11am.  I then text Christine and asked…
