First of all thank you for meeting us last week, and being frank with us. Also thank you for putting a number of items in motion for us, it is much appreciated. It also helped Denise's morale. Portocath booked 5th May, thanks.

Unfortunately, the tissue viability did not really work out…

·         Hosp wanted to change Dens appointment on 24hrs notice, because New onc does not do Tuesdays, but have seen 3 times before on a Tuesday.

 ·         Told on Monday did not matter chemo already ordered for Wednesday. This is prior to blood test and weight check as chemo is weight related. This has never been pre-ordered before. Plus New Onc admitted on previous visits, that she did not know how to order it…

Just feel so knackered today. My head does not feel mine, sort of slightly dizzy. But I have to be alright, don't I? As Den does not allow me to be ill. Prehaps that's the problem. Also had a bad weekend, got rather ratty over little things. But it would be nice if other people understood, that I have wants and needs too. I think I am just too nice?

Well went to CAB last Friday, where we actually found out what had happened, where the CAB rang on my behalf. In their wisdom they stopped my payments when I turned 60. They admitted that I am entitled, but because they have now closed the record, I must now make a new claim. Which they are unlikely to back date the 3 months + to my birthday. Result I have lost 2 and a half months money.
