  • Day 14 meeting my brother for lunch

Day 14 out to lunch with my younger brother

Yes today is a good day as I’m off to Gillingham Savacentre to Lunch with Martin and Pam so I’m looking forward to that.

Well yesterday was a good day even though I was a bit worried about swollen ankles, as I do worry about my Kidney.

This one kidney just mustn’t let me down, Chemo can damage it, but I think its more the fact I sit for hours on this computer…

  • Day13 Shattered so had a lazy day

    Yesterday was a good day.
I was shattered from all the fun of the Rally, so I thought it best to make it a relaxing day and that's just what I did.
I did the washing and got that out on the line hovered through and that was it.

I slept lovely though— then Chemo wiggles started and the scratch, scratch it is the Chemo scratches night.
As I was doing it all in my sleep–I became aware of Ray saying “Oh for goodness sake”and he got up.
I looked at the clock and…

  • Hospital appointment

We had to go to the Oncology Department today for a Chemo assessment.
As we travelled through the rain, the most beautiful rainbow was on the edge of the dark cloud.
As the sun was also shinning the colors were so vibrant it was a wonderful site over Canterbury Cathedral Spire.
Arriving in the hospital car park I used my blue badge for the first time and parked in the disablement car park and set the clock for 3 hours…
