  • My Diary--my letter has arrived

    The letter arrived today and I have got an appointment at the follow up clinic for the results of my Thyroid Bi-Op and CAT Scan on Monday 8th Feb so thats goodnews.

     

    These humans are very messy

     

    We woke up early again as the dog barked and this time the security light was on and a garden light has been knocked over so something is out there.

    It might be a fox or a cat but what ever I couldnt get back to sleep so…

  • My diary --A day of thought.

    The usual  walk with the dog today was very enjoyable even if it was cold.

    I had a present from a dear friend today of a Desert Scarf to wrap around my face and head and it will keep the cold weather out so I will certainly be using that to the full.

    We had woken up to a frost covering the roofs again and the car window screens needed a scrape early morning but they promise tomorrow will be warmer.

  • My Diary —My results are on the way

    Ray made a phone call to my Doctors Secretery and she says the results of my Thyroid Bi-Op are being scanned by the hopital and emailed to the Doctor but they cant scan the CT Scan they will have to send it so I have to wait until the Doctor recieves them and then he will phone me.

    I phoned my Macmillian nurse and she says ahe will chase the appointment to discuss the results with the Oncologist.

    I just have a fear…

  • My Diary I have had to chase for my Results

    The postman didn't bring my letter today so I phoned the Surgery and made an appointment for my Second Swine Flue jab and was given Friday at 5.40pm I then asked to speak to my Doc's Secretary.

    I told her I had realised that I didn't have the results from my Thyroid Bi-Op (what was I thinking of to let that slip it was done on December 9th)

    I was woken up very early by the Seagulls as the flew over us to have a day at the coast.

    That’s the first morning that I have heard them so it must be spring soon, they stay on the water’s edge all day feeding and when the tide goes out they feed in the mud.
